What does your adviser do for you?

Assess your options

Your adviser will help you to evaluate your personal circumstances, considering both your income and your expenditure. They will get to know you and your personal goals, using the information to make a proposal on what the best choice for you is. They will cover the features and risks, including that equity release will reduce the value of your estate and possibly affect your entitlement to means-tested benefits.

Assist with an application

If the recommendation is to release equity, and you’re happy to proceed, your adviser will handle the paperwork and process the application for you. They will keep in touch with the lender and make sure that things move along as they should.

Offer lifetime care

At Responsible Life, you’re gaining an adviser for life. Your adviser will make sure to check in at key points after your equity release has completed. They will make sure that it’s still working for you and will even assess whether you could save money by moving to a lower rate if one is available at the time.

Don’t take our word for it

Our advisers have plenty of glowing reviews about the service that they provide.
